According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "Detecting a source hospital operation activity as a root cause of an outlier of a hospital measure includes determining a contributor to a detected outlier and a dimension impact rating for a dimension under which the outlier is organized and generating and delivering a user-specific hospital operations measure dashboard based on an indication of the source hospital operation activity of the contributor."
