ALEXANDRIA, Va., July 21 -- United States Patent no. 12,686,720, issued on July 21, was assigned to DIAGONAL THERAPEUTICS INC. (Watertown, Mass.).

"Bispecific agonistic antibodies to activin a receptor like type 1 (ALK1)" was invented by Alexey Alexandrovich Lugovskoy (Belmont, Mass.), Jean-Christophe Hus (Concord, Mass.) and Melissa Geddie (Arlington, Mass.).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "Provided herein are bispecific agonistic antibodies that bind to ALK1, BMPRII, ActRIIA, and/or ActRIIB, and methods of using the same."

The patent was filed on Aug. 12, 2025, under Application No. 19/297,899.
