US Patent Issued to DENKA on June 30 for "Europium activating beta-type sialon phosphor, and light-emitting device" (Japanese Inventors)

ALEXANDRIA, Va., July 16 -- United States Patent no. 12,668,741, issued on June 30, was assigned to DENKA COMPANY Ltd. (Tokyo).

"Europium activating beta-type sialon phosphor, and light-emitting device" was invented by Noriyoshi Sakai (Tokyo), Ryousuke Kondo (Tokyo), Tomohiro Nomiyama (Tokyo) and Keita Kobayashi (Tokyo).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "An europium activating Beta-type sialon phosphor contains at least one kind of element selected from the group made of yttrium, titanium, and gadolinium, wherein the total content of the at least one kind of element is more than 0 ppm and less than 1000 ppm."

The patent was filed on Sept. 6, 2021, under Application No. 18/024,932.
