ALEXANDRIA, Va., Sept. 15 -- United States Patent no. 12,738,982, issued on Sept. 15, was assigned to Dell Products LP (Round Rock, Texas).

"Remote controlled reconfigurable intelligent surface" was invented by Navjot Kaur Khaira (Manotick, Canada), Tejinder Singh (Manotick, Canada) and Morris Repeta (Ottawa).
