ALEXANDRIA, Va., March 3 -- United States Patent no. 12,568,572, issued on March 3, was assigned to Dell Products LP (Round Rock, Texas).
"Ultraviolet glue-controlled impedance" was invented by Pei-Ju Lin (Taoyuan Dist., Taiwan), Chang-Hsien Chen (New Taipei, Taiwan), Bhyrav Mutnury (Austin, Texas) and Yi-Tang Chen (Xinzhuang, Taiwan).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A printed circuit board comprising a differential microstrip pair including a neck-down area and an ultraviolet glue coating a portion of the neck-down area of the differential microstrip pair to control an impedance of the differential microstrip pair."
The patent was filed on July 31, 2023, under Application No. 18/362,230.
