US Patent Issued to Deere & Co. on June 9 for "Closed loop closing system control" (Iowa, Illinois Inventors)

ALEXANDRIA, Va., June 9 -- United States Patent no. 12,648,507, issued on June 9, was assigned to Deere & Co. (Moline, Ill.).

"Closed loop closing system control" was invented by David V. Rotole (Bloomfield, Iowa) and Cary S. Hubner (Geneseo, Ill.).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "An agricultural machine includes a furrow opener and a furrow closing system and a controller that performs closed loop control of the furrow closing system."

The patent was filed on Jan. 23, 2023, under Application No. 18/158,008.
