ALEXANDRIA, Va., July 7 -- United States Patent no. 12,674,445, issued on July 7, was assigned to DAOZ INTERNATIONAL HOLDING Ltd. (Wan Chai, Hong Kong).

"Valves with overdriven protection" was invented by Sheng-Hun Jeng (HsinChu, Taiwan).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A valve comprises a drive rod, a diaphragm, and a chamber. The chamber contains the diaphragm, and the chamber is blocked by the diaphragm driven to reach a bottom of the chamber. A limiting element encircles the drive rod to contain a section of the drive rod, and the limiting element is configured to prevent the drive rod from being overdriven."

The patent was filed on Nov. 20, 2023, under Application No. 18/514,234.
