ALEXANDRIA, Va., July 21 -- United States Patent no. 12,689,457, issued on July 21, was assigned to Danmarks Tekniske Universitet (Kongens Lyngby, Denmark).

"Spatially distributed optical fibre based transmission link and method thereof" was invented by Leif Katsuo Oxenlowe (Kongens Lyngby, Denmark) and Michael Galili (Kongens Lyngby, Denmark).
