ALEXANDRIA, Va., Oct. 21 -- United States Patent no. 12,444,735, issued on Oct. 14, was assigned to Daido Steel Co. Ltd. (Nagoya, Japan).
"Si alloy powder for negative electrode" was invented by Yuta Kimura (Nagoya, Japan), Kyohei Shimomura (Nagoya, Japan) and Hiroyuki Ohisa (Nagoya, Japan).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A Si alloy powder for a negative electrode, the Si alloy powder including: a Si phase; a SiX compound phase; and at least one selected from the group consisting of a SnY compound phase and a AlY compound phase, in which the element Y in the SnY compound phase and the AlY compound phase includes at least one element selected from the group consisting of Cu, Fe, Ni, Cr, Co, Mn, ...
