ALEXANDRIA, Va., Feb. 11 -- United States Patent no. 12,543,901, issued on Feb. 10, was assigned to Cross Innovations LLC (Cheyenne, Wyo.).
"Raised toilet seat with removable handrails" was invented by Shawn Higgins (Cheyenne, Wyo.).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "Implementations of a toilet seat system can include a raised toilet seat having a set of cavities formed therein, cavities in the set of cavities being configured to receive inserts, and a handrail including a rail and an insert that is releasably secured within a cavity of the set of cavities."
