US Patent Issued to Covidien on Sept. 2 for "Pleated or folded catheter-mounted balloon" (Minnesota Inventors)

ALEXANDRIA, Va., Sept. 3 -- United States Patent no. 12,403,290, issued on Sept. 2, was assigned to Covidien LP (Mansfield, Mass.).

"Pleated or folded catheter-mounted balloon" was invented by Dwight Skinner (New Brighton, Minn.) and Adam Tschida (Loretto, Minn.).
