ALEXANDRIA, Va., July 15 -- United States Patent no. 12,662,571, issued on June 23, was assigned to Covestro Deutschland AG (Leverkusen, Germany).
"Polycarbonate compositions containing polyethercarbonate polyols" was invented by Rolf Wehrmann (Krefeld, Germany) and Anke Boumans (Bedburg-Hau, Germany).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "Polycarbonate-based compositions containing polyether carbonate polyol are described. The compositions have an elevated transmittance in the VIS range as a result of the additive and further advantageous properties, for instance improved demolding characteristics. Even small amounts have a significant impact."
