ALEXANDRIA, Va., July 28 -- United States Patent no. 12,691,051, issued on July 28, was assigned to Coty Inc. (New York).
"Nail lacquer without nitrosamine" was invented by Cleber Contente Da Silva (Barueri, Brazil).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A lacquer/polish composition for nails is disclosed and which comprises at least one a primary film former, at least one organic solvent, at least one pigment and a solvent based suspension of an alkonium sepiolite complex. The wet composition is devoid of nitrosamines or the production of nitrosamines."
The patent was filed on Feb. 25, 2021, under Application No. 17/905,544.
