US Patent Issued to COMMSCOPE TECHNOLOGIES on Aug. 18 for "Dual-sided splice cassette" (Chinese Inventors)

ALEXANDRIA, Va., Aug. 18 -- United States Patent no. 12,710,610, issued on Aug. 18, was assigned to COMMSCOPE TECHNOLOGIES LLC (Claremount, N.C.).

"Dual-sided splice cassette" was invented by Hui Li (Suzhou, China), Wenlan Han (Shanghai) and Min Dong (Suzhou, China).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A splice cassette (100) includes a housing (114) which defines a first and a second interiors (132,134) facing in opposite directions. A first splice region (150) is disposed in the first interior (132) and a second splice region (152) is disposed in the second interior (134). A splice holder (180,185) can be mounted removably at one or more of the splice regions (150,152)."
