US Patent Issued to Comcast Cable Communications on July 28 for "Sidelink radio resources on shared spectrum" (Virginia Inventors)

ALEXANDRIA, Va., July 28 -- United States Patent no. 12,696,299, issued on July 28, was assigned to Comcast Cable Communications LLC (Philadelphia).

"Sidelink radio resources on shared spectrum" was invented by Bing Hui (Herndon, Va.), Hua Zhou (Vienna, Va.), Esmael Hejazi Dinan (McLean, Va.) and Hyoungsuk Jeon (Centreville, Va.).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A first wireless device may communicate with a second wireless device using sidelink resources. For a sidelink transmission on a shared spectrum, a quantity of subchannels of a sidelink resource pool (RP) may be used for indicating a resource block (RB) interlace."
