ALEXANDRIA, Va., July 15 -- United States Patent no. 12,662,785, issued on June 23, was assigned to Coastal Protection Holdings Corp. (Manhasset, N.Y.).
"Securable device having a corkscrew" was invented by Nicholas Thatos (Manhasset, N.Y.) and George Thatos (Manhasset, N.Y.).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A device comprising a corkscrew; and a protrusion comprising a sleeve and one or more protrusion cells. Methods of using the device are also disclosed."
The patent was filed on June 11, 2024, under Application No. 18/740,472.
