ALEXANDRIA, Va., June 4 -- United States Patent no. 12,319,872, issued on June 3, was assigned to CNPC USA Corp. (Houston), Beijing Huamei Inc. (Beijing) and Xinjiang Oilfield Co. (Karamay, China).
"Treatment of subterranean formations with crosslinked fluids" was invented by Lijun Lin (Katy, Texas), Chuanxin Zhang (Beijing), Guodong Wu (Beijing), Bo Huang (Beijing) and Stephanie Yu (Houston).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "Disclosed herein is a crosslinked HPG fluid system using a very low concentration of HPG polymer. The fluid system is able to be used at low HPG concentrations while maintaining stable viscosity for over two hours at elevated temperatures."
