ALEXANDRIA, Va., Feb. 24 -- United States Patent no. 12,559,479, issued on Feb. 24, was assigned to CITY OF HOPE (Duarte, Calif.).
"Cell penetrating cyanine-coupled antibodies" was invented by Andreas Herrmann (Del Mar, Calif.), Hua Yu (Glendora, Calif.) and Christoph Lahtz (Duarte, Calif.).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "Described herein are compositions relating to cell-penetrating conjugates of formula (I) or (IV). The compositions are capable of penetrating cells and recognizing intracellular targets (e.g., STAT3) and are, inter alia, useful for diagnostic and therapeutic purposes."
