ALEXANDRIA, Va., Jan. 28 -- United States Patent no. 12,535,888, issued on Jan. 27, was assigned to Cirque Corp. (Sandy, Utah).
"Capacitance module with an antenna and haptics" was invented by Paul Glad (Sandy, Utah), Douglas Steck (Riverton, Utah) and Brian Monson (Farmington, Utah).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A capacitance module may include at least one capacitive sensor layer; an antenna connected to the capacitive sensor layer; and at least one haptic actuator connected to the capacitive sensor layer."
The patent was filed on Oct. 31, 2022, under Application No. 17/977,218.
