ALEXANDRIA, Va., Dec. 2 -- United States Patent no. 12,485,134, issued on Dec. 2, was assigned to ChromaDex Inc. (Los Angeles).

"Use of nicotinamide riboside, nicotinic acid riboside, reduced nicotinyl riboside compounds, and nicotinyl riboside compound derivatives in formulations" was invented by Aron Erickson (Longmont, Colo.), Amanda Storjohann (Westminster, Colo.), Philip Redpath (Longmont, Colo.) and Matthew Roberts (Woodland Hills, Calif.).
