ALEXANDRIA, Va., Jan. 20 -- United States Patent no. 12,529,046, issued on Jan. 20, was assigned to Children's Medical Center Corp. (Boston).
"Production of botulinum neurotoxins using Bacillus systems" was invented by Min Dong (Weatogue, Conn.) and Liang Tao (Boston).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "Described herein are Bacillus cells comprising a nucleotide sequence encoding a Botulinum neurotoxin (BoNT) and methods of producing the BoNT."
The patent was filed on Jan. 29, 2019, under Application No. 16/965,650.
