ALEXANDRIA, Va., April 15 -- United States Patent no. 12,603,218, issued on April 14, was assigned to CHICONY POWER TECHNOLOGY Co. LTD. (New Taipei City, Taiwan) and NATIONAL TAIPEI UNIVERSITY OF TECHNOLOGY (Taipei, Taiwan).

"Planar transformer" was invented by Yen-Shin Lai (Taipei City, Taiwan), Yong-Yi Huang (Taipei City, Taiwan) and Hao-Chieh Chang (New Taipei City, Taiwan).
