ALEXANDRIA, Va., April 7 -- United States Patent no. 12,595,423, issued on April 7, was assigned to Chevron U.S.A. Inc. (San Ramon, Calif.).

"Processes for cofeeding waste plastic and bio feedstocks to a refinery processing unit" was invented by Tengfei Liu (Fairfield, Calif.), Joel Edward Schmidt (Oakland, Calif.), Robert E. Montgomery (Moss Point, Miss.), Richard L. Grove (Spanish Fort, Ala.) and Hye-Kyung Cho Timken (Albany, Calif.).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A continuous process for transporting one or more waste plastic feedstocks to a refinery processing unit, includes receiving, in a blending unit, one or more waste plastic feedstocks, one or more waste plastic-immiscible bio feedst...
