ALEXANDRIA, Va., Aug. 26 -- United States Patent no. 12,400,770, issued on Aug. 26, was assigned to Chemical Design Labo. LLC (Mito, Japan) and Innovative Fuel Solutions LLC (North Las Vegas, Nev.).

"Method for extracting technetium-99m from low specific activity molybdenum-99, method for producing physiological saline solution containing technetium-99m using extraction method thereof, and system for recovering technetium-99m from natural molybdenum" was invented by Katsuyoshi Tatenuma (Mito, Japan), Edward Mausolf (North Las Vegas, Nev.) and Erik V. Johnstone (North Las Vegas, Nev.).
