ALEXANDRIA, Va., Dec. 23 -- United States Patent no. 12,502,271, issued on Dec. 23, was assigned to Cephea Valve Technologies Inc. (Abbott Park, Ill.).

"Suture rigging assembly" was invented by Jarred Hake (Fremont, Calif.), Randolf Von Oepen (Aptos, Calif.) and Stephanie Gatchalian (San Jose, Calif.).
