ALEXANDRIA, Va., Jan. 20 -- United States Patent no. 12,529,105, issued on Jan. 20, was assigned to Center for Excellence in Brain Science and Intelligence Technology, Chinese Academy of Sciences (Shanghai).

"Application of BAZ2B gene as target in slowing aging" was invented by Shiqing Cai (Shanghai), Jie Yuan (Shanghai), Siyuan Chang (Shanghai) and Zhiyang Liu (Shanghai).

It is disclosed that the BAZ2B gene plays an important regulatory role in occurrence and development of normal aging and age-related diseases, and the down-regulation thereof can significantly slow aging and alleviatememory...
