ALEXANDRIA, Va., March 17 -- United States Patent no. 12,579,849, issued on March 17, was assigned to Caterpillar Inc. (Peoria, Ill.).

"Detecting an unusual operation of a vehicle outside of a time fence and notifying neighboring vehicles" was invented by Daniel Adler (Peoria, Ill.), Julie Gannon (Peoria, Ill.) and Joshua Reed (Galesburg, Ill.).
