ALEXANDRIA, Va., July 15 -- United States Patent no. D1,131,361, issued on June 23, was assigned to Caterpillar Inc. (Peoria, Ill.).
"Battery pack" was invented by Sam Millington (Newport, Great Britain), Colin Haag (Columbus, Ohio), Rob Sweney (Oakland, Calif.) and Jeffrey Wong (Cotati, Calif.).
