ALEXANDRIA, Va., Feb. 3 -- United States Patent no. 12,539,870, issued on Feb. 3, was assigned to Caterpillar Inc. (Peoria, Ill.).

"Fatigue detection and operator alert system" was invented by Luvkush Kumar (Mathura, India), Tarashankar Mukherjee (Chinsurah, India), Robert A. Hamann (Tucson, Ariz.) and Jeffrey P. Labre (Oro Valley, Ariz.).
