ALEXANDRIA, Va., Aug. 25 -- United States Patent no. 12,717,884, issued on Aug. 25, was assigned to Capital One Services LLC (McLean, Va.).

"Proactive biometric signature generation" was invented by Austin Erickson (Herndon, Va.), Michael Mossoba (Great Falls, Va.) and Joshua Edwards (Philadelphia).
