ALEXANDRIA, Va., Oct. 21 -- United States Patent no. 12,443,120, issued on Oct. 14, was assigned to CANON K.K. (Tokyo).

"Toner" was invented by Yoshitaka Suzumura (Shizuoka, Japan) and Tomoko Sugita (Shizuoka, Japan).
