ALEXANDRIA, Va., June 2 -- United States Patent no. 12,648,354, issued on June 2, was assigned to CANON K.K. (Tokyo).
"Organic compound and organic light-emitting element" was invented by Takayuki Horiuchi (Kanagawa, Japan), Hiroki Ohrui (Tokyo), Hironobu Iwawaki (Kanagawa, Japan), Yosuke Nishide (Kanagawa, Japan), Hirokazu Miyashita (Miyagi, Japan) and Naoki Yamada (Tokyo).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "An organic compound represented by formula [1]:R1 to R10 are each independently selected from the group consisting of a hydrogen atom, a deuterium atom, a substituted or unsubstituted alkyl group, a substituted or unsubstituted aryl group, and a substituted or unsubstituted heterocyclic group....
