According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "An electronic apparatus includes a first member having a first surface, and a second member having a second surface that faces the first surface of the first member via a gap. A fine structure having a liquid-repellent effect is formed on at least one of the first surface and the second surface. The second surface has a tilt relative to the first surface, which narrows the gap toward an opening where liquid can enter."
