US Patent Issued to Cambridge Animal Technologies on May 12 for "Animal tag" (British Inventors)

ALEXANDRIA, Va., May 12 -- United States Patent no. 12,622,414, issued on May 12, was assigned to Cambridge Animal Technologies Ltd (London).

"Animal tag" was invented by Jose Chitty (London) and Veena Adityan (London).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A tag for an animal is disclosed. The tag comprises a first part for permanently attaching to a part of the animal and a second, removeable part for removably attaching to the first part. The first and second parts are arranged such that the second part is releasably securable to the first part."
