ALEXANDRIA, Va., Feb. 11 -- United States Patent no. 12,545,641, issued on Feb. 10, was assigned to C-BIOMEX Co. LTD. (Pohang-si, South Korea).

"Amphoteric fluorescent substance capable of being attached to biomaterials" was invented by Jun-Hoe Cha (Seoul, South Korea) and Hak-Soo Choi (Iksan-si, South Korea).
