ALEXANDRIA, Va., Dec. 31 -- United States Patent no. 12,509,866, issued on Dec. 30, was assigned to Budderfly Inc. (Shelton, Conn.).

"Valve for controlling water flow valve and for improving water meter health and readings" was invented by Fabian Mauricio Barreda (Boynton Beach, Fla.).
