"Direct conversion of methane to C 2 and higher hydrocarbons" was invented by Andrew Peterson (Providence, R.I.), Franklin Goldsmith (Providence, R.I.), Jongyoon Bae (Providence, R.I.), Dongmin Yun (Daejeon, South Korea), Juhwan Im (Daejeon, South Korea) and Dokyoung Kim (Daejeon, South Korea).
