ALEXANDRIA, Va., Nov. 3 -- United States Patent no. 12,782,880, issued on Nov. 3, was assigned to BROOKLANDS WATCH Co. (London).

"Racing tachymeter" was invented by Simon Charles Jeffs (Fingest, Great Britain).
