ALEXANDRIA, Va., Dec. 2 -- United States Patent no. 12,486,525, issued on Dec. 2, was assigned to Bristol-Myers Squibb Co. (Princeton, N.J.).
"Methods for increasing productivity of therapeutic proteins" was invented by Jianlin Xu (Devens, Mass.), Shun Zheng (Waltham, Mass.) and Zeinab H Dawood (Devens, Mass.).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "The present invention generally relates to a method of producing a therapeutic protein of interest secreted from host cells cultured in a bioreactor through adding a carboxypeptidase to the cell culture."
The patent was filed on Sept. 21, 2021, under Application No. 18/245,753.
