ALEXANDRIA, Va., Dec. 2 -- United States Patent no. 12,485,635, issued on Dec. 2, was assigned to Bridgestone Americas Tire Operations LLC (Nashville, Tenn.).

"Tire sealant cell" was invented by Justin R. Martin (Aiken, S.C.) and Randal T. McJunkin Jr. (Irmo, S.C.).
