ALEXANDRIA, Va., Sept. 8 -- United States Patent no. 12,731,729, issued on Sept. 8, was assigned to Brian Lau (Bellevue, Wash.) and Sesame AI Inc. (Los Angeles).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "There is disclosed a wearable device that includes two bands, an exterior band, and an interior band, comprised of an electrically conductive material, and including at least one interior cut through the entirety of the interior band.
