"Hydrangea plant named 'OLLEDE'" was invented by Antonius M.M. Captein (Alphen aan den Rijn, Netherlands).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A new Hydrangea plant named 'OLLEDE' particularly distinguished by a short plant having early flowering with white inflorescence fading to greyed-red when mature, is disclosed."
The patent was filed on Sept. 24, 2025, under Application No. 19/338,930.
