ALEXANDRIA, Va., July 21 -- United States Patent no. 12,685,515, issued on July 21, was assigned to Boston Scientific Scimed Inc. (Maple Grove, Minn.).
"Analog platform for intravascular image acquisition" was invented by Canute Paul Pereira (Ogilvie, Minn.).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A circuit and design for an analog front end is provided. The AFE includes a number of sub-stages each with multiple optional or alternative pathways to complete the circuit. These pathways can be dynamically set during runtime based on the type of imaging catheter used with the AFE or can be set at manufacturing."
