ALEXANDRIA, Va., June 9 -- United States Patent no. 12,649,856, issued on June 9, was assigned to Borealis AG (Vienna).
"Flame retardant composition" was invented by Johan Defoer (Mechelen, Belgium).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "The invention provides aflame retardant composition comprising and ammonium polyphosphate a silane functionalised ethylene copolymer."
