ALEXANDRIA, Va., July 14 -- United States Patent no. 12,678,525, issued on July 14, was assigned to Board of Trustees of the University of Arkansas (Little Rock, Ark.).

"Microwave-plasma disinfector (origreen)" was invented by Samir El-Ghazaly (Fayetteville, Ark.), Amirreza Ghadimi Avval (Fayetteville, Ark.), Sara Ghayouraneh (Fayetteville, Ark.), Saleh Alfawaz (Fayetteville, Ark.) and Ibrahim Alquaydheb (Fayetteville, Ark.).
