ALEXANDRIA, Va., Sept. 10 -- United States Patent no. 12,409,805, issued on Sept. 9, was assigned to BlackBerry Ltd. (Waterloo, Canada).

"Method and system for multi-party unlock in an inventory transaction" was invented by James Randolph Winter Lepp (Ottawa), Michael Peter Montemurro (Toronto) and Stephen McCann (Southampton, Great Britain).
