ALEXANDRIA, Va., Oct. 6 -- United States Patent no. 12,754,760, issued on Oct. 6, was assigned to BlackBerry Ltd. (Waterloo, Canada).

"Interrupt handling" was invented by Elad Lahav (Stittsville, Canada).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "In some examples, a system includes one or more hardware processors, an interrupt service thread to handle an interrupt, and a kernel scheduler to schedule the interrupt service thread as part of a collection of threads to be scheduled."

The patent was filed on Aug. 29, 2024, under Application No. 18/819,753.
