US Patent Issued to BeOne Medicines I on Nov. 3 for "EGFR degraders and methods of use" (Chinese Inventors)

ALEXANDRIA, Va., Nov. 3 -- United States Patent no. 12,779,041, issued on Nov. 3, was assigned to BeOne Medicines I GmbH (Basel, Switzerland).

"EGFR degraders and methods of use" was invented by Bailin Lei (Beijing), Huaqing Liu (Beijing), Songzhe Han (Beijing) and Zhiwei Wang (Beijing).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "Disclosed herein are novel bifunctional compounds formed by conjugating EGFR inhibitor moieties with E3 ligase Ligand moieties, which function to recruit targeted proteins to E3 ubiquitin ligase for degradation, and methods of preparation and uses thereof."
