ALEXANDRIA, Va., April 21 -- United States Patent no. 12,605,925, issued on April 21, was assigned to Bemis Associates Inc. (Shirley, Mass.).
"Multi-layer laminates and methods of making the same" was invented by Richard A. Brown (Danville, N.H.), Jared M. Ide (Chicago), Daryl R. Johnson (Fitchburg, Mass.), Dylan T. Smith (Athol, Mass.) and Stephen A. Topper (Barre, Mass.).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "Disclosed herein are improved multi-layer laminates for decals or embellishments for clothing, e.g., lettering for athletic wear, and methods of producing the same."
