ALEXANDRIA, Va., July 16 -- United States Patent no. 12,669,217, issued on June 30, was assigned to Bayerische Motoren Werke AG (Munich).
"Liner for a pressure vessel, and pressure vessel" was invented by Thomas Miadowitz (Ergolding, Germany).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A liner for a pressure vessel has a gas-tight body made from a polymer material. The gas-tight body has an outer surface in which depressions are formed, and a fiber reinforcement is arranged in the depressions. A pressure vessel with a liner of this type is also described."
The patent was filed on April 4, 2023, under Application No. 18/839,758.
